Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Debt Finance Practice with the addition of Judah Frogel and Rajani Gupta as partners in New York.
"Judah and Rajani have established market-leading debt finance practices, and both have top-flight reputations in the syndicated lending and sponsor finance space," said Eric Leicht, Global Head of White & Case's Debt Finance Practice. "Their arrival builds on the recent growth of our practice globally, reinforces our commitment to the syndicated lending business, and solidifies our position as a leading choice for lenders and sponsors across the full range of debt finance offerings."
Frogel and Gupta have extensive experience advising banks and other financial institutions, private equity funds and corporations on complex domestic and international debt finance transactions, including acquisition financings, first- and second-lien financings, debtor-in-possession and exit financings, and working capital and asset-based financings.
"As we continue to expand to meet growing client demand across the lending market, Judah and Rajani's arrival further deepens our bench of highly experienced, talented debt finance lawyers," said Eliza McDougall, White & Case's Regional Section Head of Americas Banking. "Their strong bank lending experience complements the recent investments we have made in our private credit and borrower finance capabilities, and further uniquely positions the Firm to provide top-tier service and advice to our clients across the full spectrum of complex leveraged financing transactions."
Frogel and Gupta are the ninth and tenth lateral partners to join White & Case’s Global Debt Finance Practice in 2022, following the arrivals of Vincenzo Lucibello, Jessica Ball and Jessica Shearer in the Firm’s Boston office in March; Paul Yin in the Firm's London office in March; Neeloferr Roy in the Firm’s Paris office in March; Monica Barton in the Firm’s London office in May; Brett Pallin in the Firm’s New York office in June; and Jaime Rossi in the Firm’s Madrid office earlier in September.
White & Case's Global Debt Finance Practice has a market-leading reputation for advising financial institutions, sponsors, borrowers and alternative capital providers on complex debt financings across the full capital structure, including in the most complex domestic and cross-border transactions. The Firm's team capitalizes on its expertise in all major debt finance products and is among the most highly ranked of all law firms, according to the most recent edition of Chambers Global 2022.
