Shiva K. Sandill Joins White & Case as a Partner in Chicago

Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice with the addition of Shiva K. Sandill as a partner in Chicago.

"Shiva is a talented M&A practitioner, with excellent client relationships that have strong synergies with our existing practice," said John Reiss, Head of White & Case's Global M&A Practice. "His addition supports our focus on further building out our top-flight M&A practice in Chicago, and I am confident that combining his strong legal skills with our preeminent international corporate capabilities will be highly valuable to the Firm and our clients."

Sandill advises a variety of corporate and private equity clients on their full range of legal needs, including acquisitions and investments, dispositions and corporate governance. He also provides sophisticated counsel to venture capital funds, strategic and financial investors and venture capital-backed companies in relation to fundraising and investment activities.

"Shiva's breadth of experience advising clients across the full spectrum of corporate matters is an excellent match for our team," said Eugene Leone, White & Case's Chicago Office Executive Partner. "Shiva is well regarded, and having him join us in Chicago further strengthens our market-leading capabilities while supporting the continued growth of our office."

Sandill's addition follows the continued expansion of White & Case's Global M&A Practice following the recent additions of M&A partners Matthew Barnett in Los Angeles and Burr Eckstut in New York, both in March 2022.

For the sixth straight year, White & Case's Global M&A Practice was ranked by Mergermarket as being in the top ten law firms by value and volume for 2021. For global M&A, the Firm was ranked number two by deal value and number four by deal volume for advising on 620 announced deals valued in excess of US$716 billion in 2021.
