Stephen Fraidin joins White & Case as a partner in New York

Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice with the addition of Stephen Fraidin as a partner in New York.

Fraidin's practice spans the full spectrum of corporate matters, including M&A representing bidders and targets, private equity, corporate governance representing special committees and boards of directors, proxy contests representing companies and investors, hedge fund activism and all aspects of SPACs. In each of these areas, he has led many of the most significant matters and has been credited for developing many of the deal structures that are now market standards.

Fraidin joins White & Case from another law firm and is the prior Vice Chair of Pershing Square Capital Management. He has been top-rated by all the major legal directories, has been named a Financial Times' top ten most innovative lawyer in North America and is a multiple winner of The American Lawyer's "Dealmaker of the Year" award.

Fraidin currently teaches at Columbia Law School, previously having taught at Yale Law School for more than 30 years. He also serves on the advisory boards for the American Law Institute's "Restatement of the Law, Corporate Governance" project, the Board of Yale Law School's Center for the Study of Corporate Law and New York University's Institute for Corporate Governance & Finance.
