White & Case advises on Aeroporti di Roma's €350 million sustainability-linked financing

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised a pool of banks including Banca Nazionale del Lavoro S.p.A., Banco BPM S.p.A., Barclays Bank Ireland PLC, BNP Paribas, Italian Branch, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank Milan Branch, Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., Mediobanca - Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A., Natixis S.A. Milan Branch and Société Générale Milan Branch on a €350 million revolving credit facility granted to Aeroporti di Roma S.p.A.

The transaction is structured in a sustainability-linked format to strengthen the integration between sustainability goals and the company's financial strategy. As a result of the new revolving credit facility, Aeroporti di Roma's capital structure includes around 40 percent in sustainable finance instruments, in line with its goal of reaching at least 50 percent by 2025.

The White & Case team in Milan that advised on the transaction included partners Andrea Novarese and Giuseppe Barra Caracciolo and associate Francesco Pirisi.
