White & Case advises EcoDataCenter on €170 million debt financing to accelerate growth plans

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised EcoDataCenter on a €170 million debt financing, which aims to accelerate its expansion of sustainable data centers in the Nordic market.

The consortium of banks providing the facilities included KfW and Kommunalkredit as Global Co-ordinators and Mandated Lead Arrangers, and Investec and NIBC as Mandated Lead Arrangers.

EcoDataCenter is a Swedish data center company that is owned by Swedish fund manager Areim and aims to be the Nordic region’s leading provider of sustainable and secure data center solutions.

The White & Case team that advised on the transaction was led by partner Shane McDonald (London) and included partners Jeremy Duffy, Lisa Seifman (both London) and Carl Hugo Parment (Stockholm), counsel David Tayler (Stockholm) and associates Janam Nagra, Jacob Heath, William Heywood (all London), Emelie Söderman and Daniel Agnemyr (both Stockholm).
