White & Case advises Orazul Energy Perú S.A. on US$380 million notes issuance and related tender offer

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Orazul Energy Perú S.A. on its issuance of US$380 million aggregate principal amount of 6.250% senior notes due 2032 and a corresponding tender offer for Orazul's existing 5.625% senior notes due 2027. The successful issuance of the new notes was six times oversubscribed.

Orazul is a private company controlled by I Squared Capital and is a leading Peruvian renewable power company focused on electrical power generation. Orazul owns, develops and operates two hydroelectric power plants, Cañón del Pato and Carhuaquero, and one solar power plant, Carhuaquero solar, to generate and sell electricity to regulated customers (distribution companies) and non-regulated customers under short-term and long-term PPAs, as well as in the spot market.
