Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the Special Committee of the Board of Managers of STG Logistics Inc. (STG)—one of the nation's largest providers of integrated port-to-door services and supply chain solutions for cargo owners and logistics providers—in connection with STG's completion of its financial restructuring and emergence from chapter 11.
STG emerged from chapter 11 following approval of the company's Plan of Reorganization on May 18, 2026. Through the restructuring, STG reduced its funded debt obligations by nearly US$1 billion and secured new capital to support its business operations going forward. STG implemented the restructuring through a prearranged court-supervised reorganization process under chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
With a significantly deleveraged balance sheet, STG is positioned to continue operating as an integrated multi-modal transportation and logistics provider, with continuity of operations and no disruption to its port-to-door service offerings.
The White & Case team was led by Financial Restructuring and Insolvency partners Gregory Pesce (Chicago, New York), Samuel Hershey (New York), Andrew O'Neill and Laura Baccash (both in Chicago), counsel Erin Smith and associate Peter Giovine (both in New York), Devin Rivero (Miami) and Alonso Aquije (Chicago).
