Biography
Samuel P. Hershey is a partner in the Financial Restructuring and Insolvency group, based in the New York office. A bankruptcy litigator, Sam has had a leading role in some of the largest and most complex restructurings in recent history, representing debtors, creditors' committees, trustees and independent directors.
Sam has vacated the convictions of two individuals who served a combined 45 years in prison for crimes they did not commit, and now represents both clients in related civil suits, achieving tens of millions of dollars in settlements.
Sam has litigated in trial and appellate courts across the country. He is admitted to practice in New York.
