Adam Melone

Adam is an associate in White & Case's Commercial Litigation practice based in London. He has a broad practice in complex cross-border litigation and international arbitration, and acts for large corporate clients, sovereign states and financial institutions.

Adam joined White & Case as a trainee, gaining experience in the Firm's Construction, Debt Finance and Dispute Resolution Groups in London. Adam also spent six months working in the Energy, Infrastructure, Project and Asset Finance Group in the Firm's Paris office.

Adam is particularly passionate about and committed to diversity and inclusion, and sits on the committee for Spectrum – the Firm's LGBTQ+ affinity network.

Acting for an African state in ICC and Swiss Chambers arbitrations involving claims for US$800 million in a matter arising from an international fraud, bribery, and corruption scandal.

Acting for a syndicate of Chinese lenders in a claim brought in the English Commercial Court enforcing security against an Indian promoter in relation to a US$925 million facility.

Acting for a leading Japanese producer of bearings products in its defence of follow-on damages actions in the Competition Appeal Tribunal and High Court for alleged breach of Article 101 TFEU.
