Biography

Adrian Dykes brings extensive brand protection and enforcement expertise, particularly in relation to media/entertainment, financial services, FMCG and technology industries. Adrian advises clients across a variety of contentious and non-contentious areas of intellectual property law, including trademarks, passing off, copyright and registered designs and advertising law.

Adrian has represented clients before the UKIPO, EUIPO, Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and General Court.

Experience

Acting for Samsung before the High Court and the Court of Appeal in relation to a copyright infringement, trade mark infringement and passing off claim brought by the Swatch Group.

Advising The Coca-Cola Company on brand clearances and numerous copyright, trade mark, passing off and company name enforcement matters, including before the High Court.

Advising Amazon MGM Studios on numerous copyright, trade mark, passing off and company name enforcement matters.
