Biography
Overview
Ahmet concentrates on and has an extensive experience in commercial litigation and arbitration mainly arising from complex disputes on private law. He also provides legal service for the prosecutions as well as public lawsuits including but not limited to the cases related to white-collar crimes and economic crimes. He has gained over 20 years' experience assisting local and international clients on lawsuits and prosecutions related to private law, commercial law, administrative law, arbitration and labor law.

Shareholders dispute
Representing a Swedish telecommunication group company in the commercial lawsuit filed against the biggest Turkish telecommunication company regarding the cancellation of its fictitious group share transfer performed in British Virgin Islands.
Execution and bankruptcy
Filing and following up several execution and bankruptcy proceedings on behalf of a French bank against a national company group (active on the field of gold production) in relation to the sale of gold bullion consigned by the client bank.
Commercial and legal liability dispute
Representing a well-known Turkish investment group (mainly active on the fields of energy, real estate investment and chemistry) in several commercial disputes on cancellation of general assembly resolutions, determination of voidness of the board of directors' resolutions, appointment of the special auditor and legal liability lawsuits as well as criminal disputes filed by one of the investment group's shareholders against its members of the board of directors (white-color criminal cases).
Preliminary Injunction
Requesting preliminary injunction in favor of a well-known Turkish construction company against a consortium (constituted by global construction companies) for preventing releasement of letter of guarantee regarding a PPP project.
Administrative lawsuit
Assisting an American bank in the cancellation lawsuit filed before the administrative court in relation to administrative decision taken as a result of public tender regarding the transfer of public receivables worth one billion dollars.
Defective product lawsuit
Representing a global automotive production company in several commercial and consumer lawsuits regarding its defective vehicles.
Assistance on employment
Representing a global medical company during the strike conducted by its employers as well assisting in labor lawsuits, negotiations of collective labor agreements and performing collective redundancy procedure.
Arbitration:
Arbitration concerning a hydroelectric plant
Representing a national energy company in Türkiye in the arbitration proceeding to be initiated before Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Board regarding the counter party's defective production of the essential part of the generator at its Hydroelectric Plant.
Arbitration regarding construction law
Advising a well-known Turkish construction company in its arbitration proceeding before ICC Geneva in terms of Turkish law.
Representing a national real estate investment partnership in the arbitration proceedings filed by its sub-contractors (arbitration was performed by special Turkish arbitrators).

Assisting global and national companies in commercial contract negotiations including merger and acquisitions and participating to critical general assembly and board of directors' meetings on behalf of the companies.
