Overview

Alessio Marano is member of the White & Case Italian practice. His main areas of practice are Corporate M&A and Debt Finance with a special focus on Structured Finance.

Prior to joining White & Case in November 2022, he practiced in a major international law firm in Milan in the Corporate-Real Estate department.

Experience

Infracapital, the infrastructure equity investment arm of M&G plc, and funds managed by independent French investment company InfraVia Capital Partners, co-shareholders of Gruppo Investimenti Portuali in connection with the sale of 100 percent of the share capital in Terminal Darsena Toscana S.r.l. to the Grimaldi Group.

Piaggio & C. S.p.A. in connection with the issuance of €250 million, 6.5% senior unsecured notes due 2030. The notes have been offered and sold pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the US Securities Act and listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. Proceeds of the notes have been used to refinance Piaggio's outstanding €250 million senior notes due 2025 issued in 2018.

Eni S.p.A. in connection with its agreement to acquire Neptune Energy Group Limited, a leading independent exploration and production company with a portfolio of gas-oriented assets and operations in Western Europe, North Africa, Indonesia and Australia, for a total value of US$4.9 billion.

Adler Pelzer Holding GmbH in connection with the capital markets and financing aspects of its issuance of €400 million 9.500% senior secured notes due 2027 and a new €55 million super senior revolving credit facility.

Andrea Tagliabue and Alfredo Tagliabue in connection with the sale of the entire share capital of Tagliabue Gomme Gross S.r.l., one of the leading Italian distributors of tires in Italy, to Global Automotive Investments Holding B.V., a leading player in the European tires and wheel distribution based in the Netherlands.
