Alex Miller is an associate in the Energy, Infrastructure, Project Finance and Asset Finance Group in the New York office of White & Case. As a junior associate her experience spans from the establishment and representation of private investment funds to transactional and advisory matters involving information technology, intellectual property, and data privacy issues. Alex has a rich international experience having lived or worked in Brazil and Thailand prior to joining White & Case.

Representation of Calpine Corporation and its subsidiary, Calpine Steamboat Holdings, LLC, in connection with the refinancing of an approximately 241 MW natural gas cogeneration facility located in Freeport, Texas, and an approximately 375 MW natural gas combined-cycle power plant located in Blue Earth County, Minnesota.The facilities were arranged by MUFG Union Bank, N.A. as lead arranger.

Representation of Mizuho Bank, Ltd. in connection with the term-conversion of the financing of a 25.65 megawatt (AC) solar photovoltaic facility located on Guam, United States territory. The project is being developed by NRG Solar Dandan LLC, an indirect subsidiary of NRG Energy, Inc.

Representation of Banco BICE, CaixaBank S.A., CorpBanca, New York Branch and DNB Group, Agencia en Chile as lenders in the project financing of the Laberinto Project, a 146 MW solar photovoltaic electricity generation facility in Antofagasta, Chile, that will connect to Chile's Northern Interconnected System (SING).This project is one of the world’s largest merchant solar power plants that has been financed on a project finance basis.

Representation of Global Infrastructure Partners in the acquisition of the principal holdings of Competitive Power Ventures. The transaction includes equity interests in a portfolio of power generation projects that included coal and natural gas assets, as well as CPV's development and asset management platforms.

Representation of the lenders to Liquefied Natural Gas Limited's Magnolia LNG Project, an 8 million tonne per annum liquefaction and export terminal to be located in the Port of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
