Ali Mirsaidi is an associate in the New York office in the Sourcing and Technology Practice and a member of the Firm's Intellectual Property Group. Ali has worked on transactional and advisory matters involving information technology, business processes, cybersecurity and data privacy. He has also been involved in patent litigation matters for leading technology providers.
Ali brings an understanding of the business and legal challenges associated with the development, procurement and implementation of information technology. He has experience drafting and negotiating various service agreements, including Master Service Agreements. Ali applies his understanding of the leading vendors' positions to develop strategies that enable his clients to establish agreements that satisfy both their legal and business objectives. He is skilled in structuring transactions with an eye toward mitigating associated risks.
Ali advises companies in the technology, financial services, consumer products, and pharmaceuticals sectors. He has worked on a number of technology licensing, outsourcing agreements and card organization and payment processor transactions for a global financial institution, assisted with the intellectual property aspects of several M&A transactions, and assisted in various brand acquisition and licensing transactions. He has advised clients across a broad spectrum of complex technology transactions, ensuring delivery of the best possible products and services.
