Alven specializes in advising national and international clients in the areas of information technology and data protection.
He provides integrated advice for global digital platforms, in particular on intermediary liability, contractual obligations, policy issues, privacy and fundamental rights, both out of court and in litigation.
Alven also frequently advises on software licensing, sourcing and technology transactions, with an emphasis on regulated clients.
He has broad experience in dealing with public authorities. Prior to joining White & Case, Alven worked for two years in a law firm specialized in the regulated industries sector.
