Biography

Amanda is an associate in the Project Development & Finance practice at White & Case's Houston office. Her practice focuses on representing owners and developers in the construction of large, complex energy projects. Her practice involves the drafting and negotiation of a variety of project agreements, including engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), front-end engineering design (FEED) and equipment supply agreements. She has experience advising clients on a variety of projects, including liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, natural gas pipelines, power plants, petrochemical facilities, carbon capture facilities and hydrogen and ammonia facilities.

Prior to joining White & Case, Amanda represented owners, contractors and design professionals in a wide variety of construction-related disputes, including payment disputes, lien and bond issues, delay claims and construction defect claims, in both litigation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Her former construction litigation experience offers a unique and practical perspective that helps clients anticipate and focus on issues that might arise over the course of a project.

Champlain Hudson Power Express (CHPE), a Blackstone (BX) portfolio company, in the development of one of the longest HVDC transmission lines in the US, transmitting renewable electricity from Canada to New York City.
