Andreas Staroselski advises among others FinTech companies on Crypto, Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and Open Banking matters. He represents clients on custody, (digital) payment systems, Stablecoins and related financial products. This includes the launch of digital platforms, the use of Distributed Ledger Technology (e.g. Blockchain) regarding the issuance of securities as well as strategic considerations and the use of new technologies in corporate financing. Clients benefit from his extensive experience in the formation, structuring and developing of crowd lending and crowd funding structures.
Andreas Staroselski also advises on a broad range of matters relating to sustainable finance and ecological, social and governance (ESG) subjects. He has an in-depth market knowledge on sustainable finance investments such as green loans, sustainability linked bonds and green securitisation products. Andreas Staroselski combines integrated know-how of financing aspects and regulatory questions. He advises clients on matters connected with taxonomy for sustainable economic activities in EU law, sustainable disclosure obligations and green bond requirements.
Prior to joining White & Case, Andreas Staroselski worked as a trainee lawyer for the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and another international law firm in Berlin.

Advised Waterfall Asset Management, LLC on a €500 million asset-backed debt capital financing to car subscription platform FINN, secured against its fleet.
