Overview

Andreas Staroselski practices in the areas of structured finance and debt capital markets. He advises on a wide variety of aspects related to securitisation, including asset-backed and risk transfer transactions.

Andreas Staroselski also advises on a broad range of matters relating to sustainable finance and environmental, social and governance (ESG). He has an in-depth knowledge on taxonomy, sustainable disclosure obligations and green bond requirements, advising on green loans, sustainability linked bonds and green securitisation products.

A focus of Andreas Staroselski is financial services regulatory. He advised on licensing, capital and liquidity requirements, regulation of payments, outsourcing and prevention of money laundering.

Andreas Staroselski advises among others Financial Technology (FinTech) companies on Distributed Ledger Technology, Blockchain, Stablecoins, Open Banking, digital payment systems and platforms.

Prior to joining White & Case, Andreas Staroselski worked as a trainee lawyer for the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and another international law firm in Berlin.
