Overview

Anthony K. Tama is a Partner in the White & Case Capital Markets Group in London and advises global investment banking firms, commercial banks and public and private corporations in multijurisdictional finance transactions, including the issuance of secured and unsecured high-yield debt securities, syndicated institutional loans and asset-based loans.

The initial purchasers in various financings for Ardagh, including a US$2.8 billion (equivalent) notes offering by Ardagh Metal Packaging Finance plc and Ardagh Metal Packaging Finance USA LLC in connection with the combination of the Ardagh Metal Packaging business with a SPAC.*

Matalan
Matalan, a leading out of town fashion and homeware retailer in the United Kingdom, in connection with multiple financings, including a comprehensive recapitalization transaction backed by the holders of Matalan’s First Lien Secured Notes.*

Piaggio
The initial purchasers in connection with the €250 million notes offering for Piaggio, a leading producer of two-wheeler and commercial vehicles, including the Vespa, an iconic symbol of Italian design and style.*

Apollo/Univar Solutions
The initial purchasers in connection with an US$800 million senior secured notes offering by Windsor Holdings III, an entity owned by affiliates of Apollo and the lead arrangers in a concurrent US$2.4 billion term B credit facility and a €870 million term B credit facility.*

The initial purchasers in a US$750 million notes offering by IGT PLC, a multinational gaming company.*

Trivium Packaging Finance
The initial purchasers in the multi-tranche US dollar and euro denominated high yield offerings of Trivium Packaging Finance B.V., the proceeds of which were used to finance a joint venture.*

Marlink
The lead arrangers in connection with the US$815 million credit facilities to support the acquisition by Providence Equity Partners of Marlink, leading provider of smart network solutions.*

Belron
The lead arrangers in connection with multiple bank financings, including a €665 million revolving credit facility, a US$1.62 billion term B credit facility, and a €840 million term B credit facility for Belron, an international vehicle glass repair and replacement company.*

Apex Group
The lead arrangers in connection with multiple term loan B financings, including the first and second lien credit facilities provided to support the acquisition by Apex Group of Sanne Group plc, a FTSE 250 specialist alternative asset fund and corporate administrator and a US$320 million incremental term B credit facility to finance the acquisition of Maitland International Holdings.*

EQT/Icon Group
The lead arrangers in connection with an AUD786 million term B credit facility, AUD100 million revolving credit facility, AUD100 million delayed draw term B credit facility and AUD179 million second lien term B credit facility for APOG Bidco Pty. Proceeds from the term loan credit facilities were used to support the acquisition by EQT of the Icon Group, a leading cancer care provider headquartered in Australia and was reported to be the first term loan B transaction to raise more than AUD1 billion in an all Australian dollar financing.*

PGS ASA
PGS in connection with multiple financings, including a restructured US$873 million term B credit facility, a US$60 million super senior credit facility, as well as various US dollar denominated notes offerings in the high yield and Nordic bond markets.*
