Anton is a senior associate in our Moscow office. He focuses on commercial litigation and has acted before state commercial and general jurisdiction courts in a wide range of commercial disputes. Anton’s another area of focus is competition & antitrust. He handles administrative proceedings and disputes involving state authorities, in which he represents clients on a regular basis. He has also been involved in a number of international arbitrations. Anton’s industry experience includes financial services, industrial, oil & gas, metals & mining, IT and telecommunications.

Representation of Evergreen Marine in an appeal against a FAS decision which found an alleged concerted practice of foreign container-shipping companies. The allegation is that the companies engaged in price increase announcements that amount to concerted practice.  Eventually the case was settled.

Representation of Lenovo in a cartel case initiated by the FAS on suspicion of the company’s participation in an unlawful coordination of its dealers linked to the Government procurement of technology equipment over a period of years. The investigation ended with the closing of the case against our client without any sanctions.

Representation of a Receiver appointed by a Cypriot court over two Cypriot companies and their subsidiaries in Russia in support of arbitration proceedings on the issues of preservation and recovery of their assets and representing them in various court proceedings in Russia.

Representation of Kinson International Corporation, the main creditor of Oil Company Severneft, LLC, in claims exceeding US$140 million in the course of insolvency proceedings initiated by the company. The focus of the dispute was on challenging claims made by another major creditor, JSC Reverta (ex. Parex Banka), which was seeking recovery of US$75 million from Severneft.

Representation of Bank of Cyprus in a number of proceedings before the Commercial Court for Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Region related to the recognition and enforcement of three Cypriot judgments in Russia for an overall amount of more than €20 million including the related enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings.

Representation of a leading Irish aircraft leasing company in criminal proceedings in connection with an unlawful arrest imposed by Russian authorities in respect of foreign aircraft.

Representation of Bank of Cyprus with respect to Cyprus- and Russia-related proceedings seeking to recover the debt of a Cyprus-based trading company and affiliated persons.
