Anu Gangopadhyay is a technical advisor in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. She has extensive experience with methodologies, technologies, and therapeutic models involving proteins and nucleic acids.
She has experience in various areas of intellectual property issues, including preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications, portfolio development and management, freedom-to-operate, and due diligence in a wide range of life sciences areas including matters involving antibody development, small molecules, fusion proteins, pharmaceuticals, immunology, protein therapeutics, and drug formulations.
Anu received her Ph.D. in Immunology from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Her doctoral research focused on molecular biology in the characterization of protein-protein interactions in several cell signaling pathways involved in various inflammatory disorders to identify potential therapeutic targets.
