Ash Ilkhani is a member of the investment funds group at White & Case in New York. His practice focuses on representing sponsors of private equity funds and hedge funds as well as institutional investors in such funds. Mr. Ilkhani regularly advise U.S., Latin American and other international sponsors in connection with (i) structuring, formation, placement and ongoing operations of a broad range of private equity, real estate and hedge funds, (ii) carried interest arrangements and other compensation structures, (iii) secondary transactions involving private investment funds and (iv) dispositions of interests in asset management firms, as well as management team spin-outs and the establishment of new asset management firms. Mr. Ilkhani also regularly advise U.S., Middle Eastern and other institutional investors in connection with their alternative asset investment programs, including negotiating investments in all classes of private investment funds, separately managed accounts and investment management agreements.
Prior to joining White & Case, Mr. Ilkhani was an associate at a boutique law firm in New York concentrating on the structuring, formation and regulatory compliance of both U.S. and international hedge funds.
