Biography

Overview

Ben is an associate in the London office's Banking group. His experience includes advising banks, alternative lenders, private equity investors and corporates in relation to bank and corporate finance transactions.

Ben also has experience in restructuring, corporate insolvency and distressed investment work.

Ben trained with the Firm. As a trainee, he went on a client secondment to a leading credit-oriented alternative asset manager as well as the Firm's Frankfurt office.

Experience

Ben has worked in teams providing advice to:

  • a syndicate of lenders, in relation to the £820m acquisition of Alexander Mann Solutions;
  • a global investment holding company based in The Netherlands, with respect to various corporate finance matters;  
  • Diamond Bank, on the disposal of its UK banking subsidiary;
  • GSO Capital Partners (as part of an ad-hoc group of secured creditors), in the context of Concordia International Corp.’s recapitalization; and
  • the management of Noble Group, on its US$3.5bn debt-for-equity restructuring.
