Bethany is a newly qualified associate in the Firm's Project Development and Finance Group. During her recent trainee contract, Bethany has widely supported our Project Development and Finance practice with various financing matters in the renewables and wider power sector across the UK and Europe.
Experience
Representation of West Burton Energy (WBE), a UK-based independent power producer owned by funds managed by EIG, a leading institutional investor in the global energy and infrastructure sectors, on its sale of assets related to the West Burton power stations to TotalEnergies for £450 million.
Representation of Elements Green, a UK-based renewable energy developer, on a series of financings supporting the delivery of its Staythorpe Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and the ongoing expansion of its pipeline of solar and energy storage projects.
Representation of lenders in connection with a €1.37 billion refinancing of Sonnedix. The transaction involved refinancing 1,040MW of existing and new solar PV assets across France, Italy, Poland, and Spain.
