His practice focuses on infrastructure projects (in transportation, power generation, and renewable sectors). He has represented large corporate and institutional clients on the sale and purchase of infrastructure assets, project delivery and public private partnerships.
Advised the successful consortium in relation to the AUD16.2 billion acquisition of 50.4% of the New South Wales electricity distribution network owner Ausgrid. The transaction was the largest M&A deal completed in Australia and one of the largest infrastructure deals in the world in 2016.
Advised the underbidder on the acquisition of a 50 year lease of the Port of Melbourne in Australia.
Advised the vendor on the sale of the Eastern Goldfields Redevelopment Project PPP in Western Australia to an Australian institutional client.
Advised a consortium on its bid for the New South Wales electricity transmission network owner Transgrid.
Advised Transurban on the AUD1.3 billion Citylink Tullamarine Road Widening Project in Melbourne, Australia.
Representation of the underbidder on the acquisition of the QCLNG Queensland, an LNG export pipeline in Central Queensland, Australia from British Gas.
Advised the vendor on the initial public offering of Healthscope, a private hospital owner and operator, on the Australian Securities Exchange for AUD3.6 billion. The transaction was awarded 'Best IPO Deal Australia' by The Asset in 2014.
