Overview

Caitlin O'Connell is an associate in the Firm's Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Practice. Prior to joining White & Case, Caitlin was a law clerk to the Honorable Sean H. Lane in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Before law school Caitlin lived in Istanbul, Turkey working for a cross-border software firm. While in law school Caitlin interned with the Department of Justice's Office of Foreign Litigation (OFL). After graduating from Georgetown Law, Caitlin spent three years working on M&A and real estate transactions with another New York firm where her practice focused on complex repurchase financing facilities and buyer and seller side private equity company sales.

Representing the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the Chapter 11 case of Celsius Network LLC in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, acting as the fiduciary for 1.7 million account users that used the Celsius platform before its bankruptcy filing.
