Overview

Chantelle is an associate in our M&A and Corporate Practice, based in the Firm's London office. She advises corporates and investment banks on a wide variety of transactions, including domestic and international public and private M&A transactions, restructurings, joint ventures, private equity transactions, equity capital markets, listed company advisory and general corporate governance matters.

In 2018, Chantelle spent seven months on client secondment to the M&A legal team at J.P. Morgan in London.

Chantelle has also worked on a number of pro bono projects.

Representation of a number of domestic and international clients on proposed public takeovers (including reverse takeovers, hostile takeovers and advice on a proposed partial offer).

Representation of Toyota Industries Corporation on its €1.6 billion acquisition of Vanderlande Industries Holding B.V.

Advice on a proposed US$825 million investment, including private placement, in order to fund the construction of a new oil refinery in Central Asia.

Representation of Hong Kong listed client H&H Group on its acquisition of a UK luxury skincare company.

Representation of Mizuho Securities as financial adviser to SoftBank Group Corp. on its £24.3 billion acquisition of ARM Holdings plc. This deal was awarded 'Transaction of the Year (over £1 billion)' at the M&A Advisor EMEA Corporate Development Awards.

Representation of Barclays as financial adviser to Boston Scientific Corporation on its £3.3 billion offer for BTG plc.

Representation of former major international Icelandic bank, Kaupthing hf, in relation to its US$45 billion restructuring. This deal was awarded the 'Restructuring Deal of the Year' at the IFLR European Awards.

Representation of New World Resources PLC following its comprehensive, cross-border balance sheet restructuring.
