Charlotte Van Haute
Ms. Van Haute's practice centres on EU trade and customs matters and EU sanctions issues. She joined White & Case in December 2011 from a Brussels-based law firm where she advised companies and third-country governments in anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and other trade and customs matters involving the EU institutions.
She has assisted governments in WTO proceedings related to trade defence measures and the Information Technology Agreement (ITA). She also provides advice in relation to existing FTAs as well as FTAs currently in negotiation.
Ms. Van Haute advises producer organisations on a broad range of customs issues and EU regulatory affairs. Her customs experience includes work on classification, origin, valuation and GSP issues.
As part of her work in the field of sanctions and export controls, Ms. Van Haute advises multinationals on a wide range of matters, including compliance and enforcement of sanctions.
Her experience also includes advising clients in various EU anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations and several annulment proceedings before the European Court of Justice.
