Biography

Overview

Chris is an associate in White & Case's Dispute Resolution group based in London, whose practice focuses on commercial litigation and international arbitration. 

Chris has acted for clients on a range of complex, contentious matters, including general contractual and commercial disputes, shareholder disputes (including minority shareholder issues), fiduciary duties and corporate governance, and financial disputes. He represents clients across a breadth of sectors, including private equity firms, corporates and financial institutions. 

Chris also has experience representing clients before the Takeover Panel’s Hearings Committee and Appeal Board.

Representing a major activist fund in a complex multi-billion pound dispute relating to one of its most substantial holdings.

Acting for the founder and majority shareholder of a multinational asset management firm in a multi-million pound unfair prejudice claim from a consortium of investors.

Acting for one of the largest pension funds in the UK in its capacity as a substantial minority shareholder in a dispute with its JV partner.

Representing a major tech company in relation to disputes over its proposed restructuring, including claims of unfair prejudice raised by an investor.
