Overview

Clément Cenreaud is an associate in the EMEA private equity team of our Global Mergers & Acquisitions practice at White & Case.

Fluent in French and English, Clément is at ease navigating both domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, as well as private equity and venture capital matters, on behalf of multinational clients, including investment funds, investment banks, entrepreneurs, industrials, listed and non-listed companies, and distressed companies.

Clément has worked on a number of transactions including corporate financial restructuring operations (e.g. the investment of CDPQ in group Delachaux*, the investment of Metric Capital Partners in the group onepoint*, the internal reorganization of a credit institution in the context of Brexit*, the investment of Cinven in the group INSEEC*, the investment of Blackstone in Sipartech*). He has also recently worked on several M&A and Private Equity transactions.

Clément joined the Firm in February 2021 from an international law firms in Paris, where he was an associate in the M&A-Private Equity Group.

Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners
Representation of Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners, a private infrastructure investment platform within Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM), on an exclusivity agreement to partner with Altice France to establish the first nationwide independent colocation provider in France through the acquisition of a 70 percent majority stake in UltraEdge, a newly established data center company.

Representation of Banque des Territoires (Caisse des Dépôts Group) on its acquisition of a 34 percent stake in JP Energie Environnement (JPee), a French independent producer of renewable energy which has been involved in the development, financing, construction and operation of wind farms and photovoltaic (PV) power stations in France since 2004.
