Radius Worldwide financing

Colin advised on the amendment and restatement of the senior facilities agreement for Radius Worldwide, a portfolio company of HgCapital to increase its debt facilities to US$62.75 million to fund further bolt on acquisitions.

Bridge funding

Colin advised regarding debt by Silicon Valley Bank and Crescent Capital to refinance bridge funding of HgCapital's acquisition.

CogitalGroup Acquisition Finance

Colin advised HgCapital with the NOK3,675m senior facilities arranged by DNB and SEB for CogitalGroup to finance its acquisitions of (i) Visma’s former BPO division (ii) Baldwins and (iii) Blick Rothenberg.

WOM S.A Financing

Colin advised WOM S.A (a portfolio company of Novator Partners) in connection with financing the supply and installation of mobile telecommunications equipment and roll out services for its mobile telecommunications network

Novator investment in Aasa

Colin advised Novator, a private equity house, on its  €30 million investment in the Aasa group.

Iris Capital Refinance

Colin advised accountancy software provider and HgCapital portfolio company Iris, on its original £430 million refinancing and recapitalisation involving senior, second lien and PIK facilities and now most recently on the latest £498m refinancing of its Senior Facility and Second Lien Facility and partial repayment of its PIK Facility.

Castik Capital's acquisition of Waterlogic plc

Colin advised Castik Capital, the German based private equity firm on the debt financing for the take private acquisition of Waterlogic plc, a leading provider of point-of-use water purification dispensers. The 151 pence per share acquisition values the AIM-listed company at £122.6 million and represented Castik's first transaction after its establishment in 2014.

Ullink acquisition of NYFIX and Metabit businesses

Colin advised Ullink, a French software company and HgCapital portoflio company, on its US$125 million acquisition financing of NYFIX and Metabit businesses from Intercontinental Exchange Inc.

Novator investment in Nextel Chile S.A.

Colin advised Novator Partners LLP, a private equity house, in its investment in Nextel Chile S.A., Chile's fourth largest mobile telecommunications provider. As part of the transaction, Novator acquired a 92% stake in Nextel and invested in the business through a preferred debt instrument, as part of a growth strategy involving extensive infrastructure development.

Nitrogen Investments Ltd. margin call loan

Colin advised Nitrogen Investments Ltd. on its US$120 million margin call loan secured by shares for general corporate purposes.

Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe sale of GlobalCollect

Colin advised Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe on the sale of its portfolio company GlobalCollect, the Dutch-based leading full service Payment Service Provider, to Ingenico S.A for €820 million.

HSH Nordbank funding transaction

Colin advised HSH Nordbank as originator of the 'CASTELLUM ABF' funding transaction, which was collateralized by a portfolio of commercial real estate loans secured by English law-governed mortgages. It is HSH Nordbank’s third US dollar refinancing since it established its own asset-based funding platform in 2013.
