Overview

Daniel Högström is an associate in our Nordic Private Equity team in our Global M&A Practice in Stockholm and joined White & Case in 2020.

Prior to joining White & Case, Daniel studied at Stockholm University and University of Texas at Austin. Daniel commenced his career at the Firm as Summer Associate and, subsequently, joined as Junior Trainee.

Experience

Representation of Ratos, a Swedish private equity firm, and Bonnier, the holding company for a corporate group made up of the Nordic region's leading media companies, on their divestment of Bisnode, a company offering support in the form of digital business, marketing and credit information, to Bisnode's partner Dun & Bradstreet for an approximate enterprise value of SEK 7.2 billion.

Representation of Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj on the voluntary recommended public cash tender offer made by a Bain Capital lead consortium formed by (BC) Lux Holdco S.à r.l. (a vehicle owned and controlled by funds managed or advised by Bain Capital Private Equity (Europe), LLP, and/or its affiliates), Ahlstrom Invest B.V (an indirect subsidiary of Ahlström Capital Oy), Viknum AB and Belgrano Inversiones Oy, for all the issued and outstanding shares in Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj. The tender offer values Ahlstrom-Munksjö's total equity at approximately EUR 2.1 billion. Ahlstrom-Munksjö is a global leader in innovative and sustainable fiber-based materials and its shares are listed on Nasdaq Helsinki and Nasdaq Stockholm.

Representation of Ancala Partners, a leading UK-based independent infrastructure investment firm, on its acquisition of Hector Rail, the largest private freight train operator in Scandinavia, which also has operations in Germany.

Representation of Altor, a family of private equity funds focused on investing in and developing medium sized companies, on the SEK 781.9 million acquisition of Eleda Group Holding AB, an expansive group focusing on civil engineering, contract and other services in infrastructure, from several private shareholders.

Representation of Altor Fund III, a fund in the family of Altor-branded private equity funds focused on investing in and developing medium sized companies, and the management of One Nordic Holding AB, one of Sweden's leading suppliers of technical consulting, maintenance and contract services in the energy and industrial sector, on the divestment of One Nordic Holding AB to a consortium consisting of Altor Fund V and the owners of the Eleda Group, an expansive group focusing on civil engineering, contract and other services in infrastructure, and certain management shareholders.
