Dany Luu is an associate in the Employment & Benefits team of White & Case in Paris.

He specializes in employment and social security law, acting mainly on human resources and day-to-day employment matters for companies and international groups present in France.

His expertise covers both individual and collective matters, from the recruitment of employees to the termination of their employment, including post-termination issues.

His areas of focus include a particular expertise in handling employment issues arising in connection with corporate/M&A transactions and cross-border restructurings, such as the setting up of employee representative bodies, dealing with works councils and unions, as well as the negotiation of collective agreements.

Dany also carries out legal audits and assists clients on litigation and transactional matters before the courts and in administrative proceedings.

Prior to joining White & Case in 2014, Dany acquired experience in public administrations and in several high profile law firms in Paris.

Dany also worked in the Legal & HR department of a major French banking group.

Represented Faurecia on the sale of its Automotive Exteriors business to Plastic Omnium. The Automotive Exteriors business supplies a diverse range of products, achieved sales of €2 billion during 2014 and employs 7,700 people across 22 sites in 9 jurisdictions. The transaction is valued at circa €665 million, based on Enterprise Value.

Groupe Casino (2016)
Advising Casino on the creation of a joint central purchasing agency for non-food products with Conforama, one of the major home furnishings retailers in Europe.
