Overview

Partner in the Firm's Global Intellectual Property Practice Group, Dimitrios' practice focuses on patent litigation and counselling, and technology transfer.

A registered US patent attorney, clients benefit from his representation in complex patent and technology-related disputes in the Patent Office, courts and before arbitration panels.

His extensive practice experience, which spans a period of 30 years, enables him to guide clients through often highly technical matters. Drawing on his previous background in biotechnology, he brings particular insight to IP issues in the life sciences sector.

In addition to his litigation practice, Dimitrios provides clients with advice on the acquisition and licensing of intellectual property rights, joint development agreements and strategic alliances.

Dimitrios has over 30 years of experience in intellectual property law and the resolution of complex commercial disputes. He has been lead trial counsel in patent litigations, patent antitrust litigations and arbitrations involving complex transactions and agreements. Pfizer v. Teva et al.
Represented Pfizer as plaintiff in ANDA litigation against several generic manufacturers: Pfizer, Inc., et al. v. Teva Pharm. et al., 882 F.Supp.2d 643 (D. Del. 2012); aff'd, 109 USPQ 2d 1652 (Fed. Cir. 2014).
