Biography
Edred Richardson is a litigation and regulatory associate in the New York office of White & Case. He represents major technology and social media companies in complex domestic and cross-border disputes, including cases before federal courts and international tribunals, and advises on compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and agency actions across North America and Europe. Edred has extensive experience in matters involving the GDPR, the Digital Services Act, and North American data privacy frameworks, and has filed amici briefs before the US Supreme Court on behalf of technology clients on issues concerning free expression, platform regulation and data privacy.
Prior to joining White & Case, Edred earned his J.D. from Cornell University Law School, specializing in Public International Law and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Cornell International Law Journal. Edred also studied French and European Law at the Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
