Overview

Ekaterina is an associate in our corporate practice. She focuses on a broad range of corporate, regulatory, employment and migration law issues, particularly on assisting foreign investors establish a legal presence in Russia. Ekaterina regularly advises on joint ventures, corporate governance and restructuring matters, as well as provides employment and regulatory advice, including designing and implementing employee stock option and other incentive plans, and the engagement of foreign personnel in Russia.

Experience

Representation of Sber and co-investors in connection with acquisition of 75% stake in Prosveshcheniye, the largest brand in the educational books market in Russia. The deal is valued at approximately US$1 billion and represents a vital step toward digitalization of the educational process in Russia.

Representation of VTB Capital (and its two co-investors, Millhouse and Invest AG, with respect to DD) in connection with the investment in a Russian online cinema platform Ivi.ru. The transaction involved US$250 million private equity investment round led by VTB Capital.

Boeing on general corporate and employment matters.

Compagnie Generale des Etablissements Michelin, a French listed company, on legal and tax structuring aspects in connection with the implementation of its global employee stock offering plan in Russia.
