Elizabeth Barnes Coburn is a litigation associate in the Chicago office. Her practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, bankruptcy matters, and arbitration proceedings. Elizabeth supports clients across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, construction, and real estate. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular focus on criminal appeals.
Elizabeth graduated Magna Cum Laude from Notre Dame Law School where she served as a Managing Senior Editor on the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy. As an Oralist on Notre Dame's Moot Court Board, Elizabeth represented a client in a federal criminal appeal and argued in front of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to law school, Elizabeth worked at the American Bar Association in Washington, D.C.
