Biography

Overview

Elliot Herzig is an associate in the Los Angeles office, and a member of the Firm's Global Technology Industry Group. 

He represents industry-leading internet companies in international disputes and investigations, and provides advice on product development and regulation compliance. His matters span the globe, from NORAM to EMEA and APAC, and involve cutting-edge legal issues, implicating freedom of expression and information, advertising and content regulation, hosting provider liability, data privacy, cybersecurity, law enforcement assistance, intellectual property, human rights and consumer protection. 

Prior to joining White & Case, Elliot served as Judicial Law Clerk to Justice Nicholas Kasirer at the Supreme Court of Canada and, before that, to Justice Johanne Gauthier at the Federal Court of Appeal of Canada. Elliot earned his J.D. in common law from Queen's University Faculty of Law, where he received Dean's Silver Medal for second highest academic standing (2015-2016), as well as an L.L.B. in civil law from l'Université de Montréal. 

Elliot is actively involved in pro bono, focusing on Education Technology.
