Biography
Enrique Molina is an associate in the International Arbitration Practice Group. Mr. Molina's practice focuses on the resolution of complex international disputes. He represents and advises clients in investor-State arbitrations under the ICSID, UNCITRAL, and SCC rules; international commercial arbitrations under the ICC, AAA-ICDR, LCIA, HKIAC, and SIAC rules, among others; and in arbitration-related litigations before State and Federal courts in the United States. In addition, he regularly assists clients with jurisdictional planning, as well as with dispute prevention and management strategies. His experience, spanning nearly a decade, covers a range of industries, including mining, LNG (liquefied natural gas), renewable energy, telecommunications, banking and finance, air transportation, and hospitality.
Mr. Molina is a frequent speaker at arbitration conferences in the United States and Latin America and is an active member of the international arbitration community. Indeed, he sits on the Board of the Miami International Arbitration Society ("MIAS"), serves as Chair of Young MIAS, and is an ICC YAAF Regional Representative for North America. He has been recognized by Lexology Index as an Arbitration Future Leader. Mr. Molina also regularly teaches courses and individual sessions on topics relating to international dispute resolution and litigation finance. He has lectured at several institutions, including Florida State University College of Law, University of Miami School of Law, Duke University School of Law, Columbia Law School, and Stanford Law School.
Prior to joining White & Case, Mr. Molina was an Investment Manager and Legal Counsel at a global litigation funder, where he engaged in all facets of the litigation funding lifecycle for international commercial and investor-State disputes as well as for enforcement actions before U.S. courts. He routinely leverages his experience with funding and funding-related matters to his clients' benefit.
Enrique obtained his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Stanford Journal of International Law.
He is licensed to practice in New York and Florida.

Represented a U.S. investor in a billion-dollar ICSID arbitration against a Latin American state pertaining to a subsea phosphate deposit.*
Represented multiple renewable energy investors in Energy Charter Treaty arbitrations (ICSID and SCC) against Spain and Italy.*
Represented a European investor in a multi-billion-dollar ICSID arbitration against a South American state pertaining to the construction and operation of broadband network infrastructure.*
Represented a Canadian investor in an ICSID(AF) arbitration against a South American state.*
Represented six oil majors in a Singapore-seated UNCITRAL price review arbitration.*
Represented a Spanish LNG company in a New York-seated ICC commercial arbitration arising from a force majeure declaration.*
Represented a U.S. based producer of LNG in a New York-seated ICDR arbitration arising from conflicting interpretations of suspension and make-up clauses in a long-term SPA.*
Represented a global hospitality company in multiple Brazil-seated ICC arbitrations.*
Represented multiple parties in ICSID annulment proceedings.*
Represented multiple parties in enforcement proceedings before Federal and State courts in the United States.*
