Biography
Eric Min is an associate in White & Case's Global Tax Practice in New York. Eric offers strategic tax solutions for multinational clients, advising on a wide range of US and international tax matters, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, cross-border restructurings, initial public offerings, fund formation, structuring investments and developing tax-efficient strategies for global operations. Eric identifies tax risks and opportunities, assisting clients in reducing liabilities and benefiting from favorable treatments.
Prior to joining the Firm, Eric was a senior tax associate at another international law firm, where he focused on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and international restructurings, with significant experience in inbound and outbound structures, foreign tax credits, dual consolidated losses, treaty issues and tax planning. Eric also completed a secondment as tax counsel at a multinational company, where he handled in-house tax matters including mergers and acquisitions, carve-out transactions and related tax planning. Eric holds a CPA license and worked as a certified public accountant at a Fortune 50 company, where he concentrated on international tax matters.
Eric currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Asian American Bar Association of New York's Tax Committee. He received his JD from Fordham University School of Law with a concentration in tax law. He was a recipient of the Milton Young Prize for excellence in the field of taxation.
