Eva Svobodová, local partner and a co-head of the firm's Prague Capital Markets practice, focuses on capital markets transactions, securities and collective investment. She is qualified as an attorney in the Czech Republic and the US.
Eva's experience includes the representation of underwriters and issuers (including corporates, banks and sovereigns) on a range of domestic and international capital markets transactions, including both debt and equity. She Svobodová also regularly advises clients on regulatory issues, including the cross-border provision of investment services and trading, licensing, reporting obligations, as well as takeovers. Eva Svobodová's practice also includes fund formation, and structuring and regulatory advice in the area of collective investment.
Eva Svobodová has been repeatedly listed among the leading lawyers (Band 2) in the area of capital markets in the Czech Republic by Chambers Europe and Global (2013 – 2019).
Prior to joining White & Case in 2005, she worked in the Prague offices of two other reputable international law firms.
