Biography

Farrah Mombongo is an associate in White & Case's Project Development and Finance group in Paris.
Farrah advises sponsors and lenders on the development and financing of greenfield and brownfield energy and infrastructure projects.

Prior to joining White & Case, Farrah worked as an associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and gained experience as an intern in project finance departments of various international law firms.

Experience

Recent experiences before joining White & Case include advising:

  • The sponsors on the €1.04 billion financing of the PPP for the Nakkaş-Başakşehir section of the Northern Marmara Motorway in Türkiye.
  • The sponsors on the €85.4 million financing of the Dakar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system in Senegal.
  • Voltalis on the €213 million deployment, operation, and financing of a demand response system totaling 1,375 MWc in France.
  • The lenders in the outgoing concessionaire's bid for the French State's tender for the financing, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of the Stade de France.
  • The lenders on the €1.3 billion financing of a concession contract for managing the French Ministry of Armed Forces' housing portfolio.
  • The lenders on a €55.6 million senior secured loan facility and a €4 million VAT bridge facility in relation to the financing of the development by Allego (Meridiam's affiliate) of over 2,000 fast and ultra-fast EV charge points over 200 charging locations across France, in partnership with Carrefour.
  • The consortium led by Banque des Territoires, CNP Assurances and EDF Invest on the acquisition of a 50 per cent equity interest in Orange Concessions, the company established by Orange to consolidate its fiber investments in 23 public initiative networks in France, with a perimeter of over 4.5 million households.
  • The syndicate of lenders on a €220 million senior secured loan facility for the Altitude Group in relation to the acquisition of 18 Covage fiber-to-the-office (FTTO) networks (including buy-out of minority shareholders) and the refinancing of their existing indebtedness.
