Biography

Overview

Guerkan advises clients on syndicated lending transactions including acquisition finance where he advises sponsors, borrowers and issuers as well as banks and other financial institutions.

Before joining the firm in 2020, Guerkan worked over two years as an associate for another international law firm in its Frankfurt office. Prior to that, Guerkan worked for other major international law firms in Frankfurt and Munich as a research assistant and trainee lawyer.

Selected Experience

Advised Aggregate Holdings S.A. on the financing in relation to the acquisition of a project portfolio with a residual valuation of € 1.3 billion.

Advised international investor Duke Street on the acquisition of COMPO's consumer business from Kingenta Ecological Engineering Co. Ltd.

Advised Adler Real Estate Group on a € 400 million portfolio refinancing. 

Advised Adler Real Estate Group on an amendment to an existing € 106 million financing in connection with a sale of financed properties and subsequent reinvestment in new properties.

Advising Dedalus Holding S.p.A, controlled by Ardian, on completing the acquisition of part of the Agfa-Gevaert Group's healthcare IT Business.*

Advising banking consortium on financing acquisition of LAP Group by fonds advised by IK Investment Partners.*

Advising Kartesia on the refinancing of C.C. Group.*
