Experience

Advising a private investment fund in relation to the acquisition and related financing of a large commercial property located in Italy. The financing was structured as senior and mezzanine loan facilities with bespoke intercreditor arrangements. An added complexity of the transaction was the feature of an Italian fund acting as the purchasing vehicle, which gave rise to complex regulatory issues.

Advising J.P. Morgan Securities as provider of debt finance to Lone Star for its acquisition of Dutch nationalised and state-owned real estate bank Propertize and the direct acquisition by J.P. Morgan of certain loan assets from Propertize.

Advising a private investment fund as purchaser on its $230m acquisition of a shopping centre located in the UK and related financing.

Advising a financial institution in relation to its £160m acquisition of a portfolio of performing loans secured against commercial real estate assets located in Ireland.

Advising a financial institution in relation to its financing of the acquisition of a portfolio of commercial real estate properties located across The Nordic countries.

Advising an Israeli bank in relation to its proposed financing of a hotel development in the UK.

Advising Lloyds Bank Plc on the provision of term and revolving facilities to a property investment vehicle.*

Advising a real estate fund in relation to its financing of a residential development in the UK.*

Advising a commodities importer on a £200m syndicated receivables finance facility.*
