Hayley is an international law clerk in the Firm's Banking Group in London. Hayley concentrates on financial restructurings and insolvency and also undertakes general bank lending work.
Hayley has experience in relation to cross-border insolvency issues, restructurings, administrations and schemes of arrangement. Her experience also includes involvement in corporate and capital markets transactions.
Hayley has spent six months working in the Firm's Singapore office, where her focus was on asset finance and general corporate matters.
Deutsche Bank as new money provider, Agent and Security Trustee on the restructuring of the APCOA Parking Group. The restructuring was implemented through a scheme of arrangement and resulted in a significant deleveraging of APCOA's balance sheet, a reduction in its debt by more than €440 million and €80 million of additional financing.
Advised a coordinating committee of first lien and second lien lenders in relation to the £930m restructuring of the PHS group. Under the restructuring, the lenders have carried out a partial debt for equity swap implemented pursuant to a scheme of arrangement.
Represented Cognor S.A. and Zlomrex International Finance S.A., the CEE steel scrap supplier, in its restructuring of its high yield bonds pursuant to an English law Scheme of Arrangement and a US Chapter 15 recognition and the issuance of new high yield bonds and convertible PIK bonds.
Currently advising Kaupthing hf in relation to its ongoing restructuring.
Advised a coordinating committee of banks on the AED 2.8 billion financial restructuring of Tabreed, an Abu Dhabi-based district cooling company with operations across the Middle East.
