Heather Rees is a partner in the Firm's Capital Markets Group in London, specializing in corporate trustee and agency representation.
Heather has experience in equity and debt capital markets representing issuers, underwriters and trustees in a variety of securities offerings. Upon joining White & Case, Heather has focused on corporate trustee, facility agent and securityl agent representation.
Heather joined the Firm's London office in October 2013. Her previous experience includes working in the New York and London offices of leading international law firms.
Represented The Bank of New York Mellon, London Branch, as note trustee, in connection with the debt restructuring of DTEK Finance B.V.'s $200 million 9.5% senior notes due 2015 through an English scheme of arrangement.
Represented Wilmington Trust (London) Limited, as administrative agent, in connection with the exchange of Algeco Scotman's $733.5 million PIK loans for cash and partnership shares implemented through a South African scheme of arrangement.
Represented Deutsche Trustee Company Limited, as note trustee, in connection with Officine Macaferri's solicitation of noteholder consent to amend the terms of its 5.75% senior notes due 2021.
