Overview

Hillary Roberts is an associate in the Firm's London office and focuses on private equity acquisitions, equity investments and restructurings. She has also advised on a broad range of corporate transactions, including domestic, cross-border and global mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations. Prior to joining White & Case, Hillary worked at a leading law firm in New Zealand.

Hillary was seconded to Novator Partners LLP, a leading private equity firm based in London from January to March 2017. She was also seconded to a leading privately held investment company in New Zealand for three months in 2014.

Blue Water Energy LLP, a leading London-based energy investment firm specializing in oil and gas, on the acquisition from Carlyle (and others) of Authentix, a Dallas based company that uses proprietary technology to trace and authenticate fuel, money, tobacco and high-end spirits.

Mid Europa Partners, the leading private equity investor in Central and South Eastern Europe, on the sale of Zabka Polska S.A. to funds advised by CVC Capital Partners. Zabka is Poland's leading convenience retailer and its sale is the largest-ever transaction in the Polish retail sector and the largest-ever private equity exit in Poland.

Rank Group Limited, a privately held investment company, on the sale of its pulp, paper and packaging business to Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed Japanese packaging company, Oji Holdings Corporation and Japanese government-backed investment fund packaging company Innovation Network Corporation of Japan (as a consortium) for NZ$1.037 billion.*

Fastway Limited, a New Zealand courier company, and its shareholders on the sale of Fastway Limited to Dubai-based logistics firm Aramex New Zealand Holdings Limited for NZ$125 million.*
