Ian represented PPF Group, a global private equity investor, in the €2.8 billion acquisition of Telenor’s telecommunications assets in Central & Eastern Europe.
Lightsource Renewable Energy Investments Limited
Ian represented Lightsource Renewable Energy Investments Limited, Europe's largest solar development company, on its sale of a stake to BP.
Blue Water Energy LLP
Ian represented Blue Water Energy LLP, a leading London-based energy investment firm specializing in oil and gas, on the acquisition from Carlyle (and others) of Authentix, a Dallas based company that uses proprietary technology to trace and authenticate fuel, money, tobacco and high-end spirits.
Rhône on VistaJet investment
Ian represented Rhône on its investment in VistaJet. The transaction values VistaJet, the global aviation company with a fleet of more than 70 aircraft that flies corporations, governments and private clients to 187 countries worldwide, at US$2.5 billion.
Harbour Energy on US$3 Billion Acquisition of Oil and Natural Gas Assets from Shell UK
Ian represented Harbour Energy Limited, the energy investment vehicle managed by EIG Global Energy Partners, on its agreement to lead the US$3 billion acquisition by Chrysaor Holdings Limited of a diversified portfolio of oil and natural gas assets in the North Sea from Shell UK and its affiliates.
€1 Billion Play Communications IPO
Ian represented Play Communications S.A. (Play) and its shareholders, Novator and Olympia, on the €1 billion initial public offering of Play on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, which values the company at €4 billion (PLN 16 billion).
Bridgepoint on £750 Million Acquisition of Zenith from HgCapital
Ian represented Bridgepoint on its £750 million acquisition of Zenith, the UK's largest independent vehicle leasing business, from private equity firm HgCapital.

Ian represented Avast Software, one of the world's major players in the security software market, on its agreement to acquire New York Stock Exchange-listed AVG Technologies N.V., a developer of business, mobile and PC device security software applications, for a total consideration of US$1.3 billion.
CVC Capital Partners-Led Investment Consortium on Acquisition of Controlling Stake in Alvogen
Ian represented an investment consortium led by CVC Capital Partners, one of the world's leading private equity and investment advisory firms, and including Singapore-based investment company Temasek and Vatera Healthcare, on the acquisition of a controlling stake in Alvogen from Pamplona Capital Management.
