Ian Sprague

Ian is a litigator based in White & Case's Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on representing technology and social media companies in complex commercial disputes.

Ian is a member of a team that manages international civil litigation and regulatory investigations, including matters concerning privacy and data protection (GDPR), intermediary liability, hate speech, defamation, intellectual property infringement, and consumer class action claims.

Prior to joining White & Case, Ian served as a law clerk for Judge Milan D. Smith of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He graduated from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
