Overview

Ida Jíně is a lawyer in the Prague office, who primarily concentrates on providing financing and legal advice to banking institutions. Ms. Jíně provides ongoing advisory services to major financial institutions and companies in connection with international and domestic financial transactions.

Ms. Jíně participated in several financial transactions involving acquisition and operative financing, as well as export and real estate financing. In her practice, she has mainly been engaged in drafting and negotiating contractual documentation.

In recent years, Ms. Jíně has mainly concentrated on advising banks and investors in the field of real estate financing involving development, acquisitions or restructurings.

Experience

Representing UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s. in the EUR 33,000,000 development financing of CTP Vlněna Office Park, consisting of over 30,000 m2 of office and retail area, located in Brno, in southern Moravia.

Representing Česká spořitelna, a.s. (Erste Group) in connection with the EUR 32,800,000 acquisition financing of Prague's oldest office project, International Business Center, consisting of over 20,000 m2 of leasable area.

Advising Raiffesen Bank International AG  in connection with the EUR 55,000,000 acquisition financing of Hilton Prague Old Town and the adjacent mixed-use commercial building by M&L Hospitality Trust from Blackstone.

Advising a syndicate of six banks (Komerční banka, a.s., Société Générale, Československá obchodní banka, a.s., KBC Bank and Erste Bank) led by our client, Komerční banka, one of the leading banks on the Czech market, in connection with the term loan refinancing under English law of Somerston Olympia CZ s.r.o., the owner of the Olympia Brno Shopping Center, the biggest and most successful shopping center with around 110,000 m2 and more than 200 stores located in Brno, in southern Moravia, including subsequent amendments involving the acquisition of the project.

Representing PPF banka a.s. in connection with GBP 2,200,000 financing of water power plant project by Loch Eil, Scotland for a project company of Hydropol.

Advising Československá obchodní banka, a. s. (KBC Group) in connection with acquisition financing for ABRIS funds for the purpose of the acquisition of AAA Auto Group NV and its subsidiaries, including further refinancing.

Representing Raiffeisenbank a.s. and Expobank CZ a.s. in connection with the EUR 13,960,054 refinancing of current indebtedness and financing for general corporate purposes of the Czech company G.A.M. HEAT spol. s r. o.

Representing a major Czech bank in connection with acquisition financing provided to a Czech industrial holding company to finance the acquisition of five hydro power stations with total power capacity of 95 MW in Türkiye; this was one of the largest cases of export financing ever provided by a Czech bank.

Representing Česká exportní banka, a.s., as lender, arranger, agent and security agent, in its financing for Energo-Pro Bulgaria EAD for the acquisition of VEZ Energia Holding group, the operator of several water power plants in Bulgaria.

Representing BONATRANS GROUP a.s. and its affiliates as borrowers in connection with the (i) financing of the acquisition by Bonatrans Group GmbH of Gutehoffnungshütte Radsatz GmbH, the leading producer of train wheels and wheelset technology in Germany, and (ii) the refinancing of existing debt of BONATRANS GROUP a.s.
