James is an Associate within the EMEA private equity team in our Global M&A Practice and focuses on private equity acquisitions and equity investments. He has also advised on a broad range of corporate transactions (including domestic, cross-border and global mergers and acquisitions) for both privately owned and public companies as well as management teams in relation to the equity incentive arrangements.
Prior to joining White & Case, James worked at an international law firm advising large corporates, family offices and private equity funds.

SIMEC on its acquisition of Green Highland Renewables, a hydroelectric power station developer and operator in Scotland, from Ancala Partners LLP*. SIMEC on its disposal of the Uskmouth Power Station to, and reverse takeover of, Atlantis Resources Limited (renamed SIMEC Atlantis Energy) and the linked fundraising required to raise funds for the conversion of the power station from coal to burn waste derived energy pellets*. Liberty House Group on its acquisition of various steel assets in the UK from Tata Steel UK Limited*. Liberty House Group on its acquisition of various aluminium smelters in Europe from Rio Tinto*.
